Hill cabinets in the Karkonosze
The project of houses in the Karkonosze Mountains was created with the intention of blending harmoniously into the landscape. Each house has been precisely situated in the most picturesque locations, allowing residents to fully experience the natural beauty of the surroundings. Thanks to green roofs that merge with the surrounding terrain, the houses almost disappear into the landscape, returning what was momentarily taken from nature.
Raising the structure on stilts minimizes environmental impact, reducing interference with the land and protecting the vegetation and water system. The shape of the houses, with the use of a sloped roof ridge, adds dynamism while also increasing residents' privacy. Each house is equipped with a spacious terrace, which offers a sense of intimacy while simultaneously opening up to breathtaking mountain views.
The project is dominated by natural materials—slate and wood—that perfectly harmonize with the surrounding nature. These solutions not only ensure that the houses function in harmony with nature but also align with the principles of sustainable construction, minimizing the ecological footprint and respecting the mountain ecosystem.
